6 Star Charities is a networking portal that provides a contact directory of over 4500 charity listings, raises funding, awareness and media exposure to charity groups and non-profit organizations globally.
We do not handle donations or any money, but we offer a venue where groups and individuals can find resources, volunteers, donors and assistance in order to realize their cause or charitable project.
The Crowdrise team, which includes Edward Norton,
Shauna Robertson and Robert and Jeffro Wolfe, created
a super unique campaign to raise money for the Maasai
Wilderness Conservation Trust during the New York City
Marathon. Crowdrise is about giving back, raising tons of
money for charity and having the most fun in the world while
doing it. The Crowdrise site is a unique blend of online
fundraising, crowdsourcing, social networking, contests,
and other nice stuff.
